主題:Device Architectures for Single Walled CNT Sensors and NO2 Measurement Results
內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介:We report on the concept of applying single walled carbon nanotube field effect transistors (SWNT FETs) as functional building blocks in gas sensors. Advances in the device architecture, fabrication processes as well as better understanding of the behavior of SWNT FETs has enabled the vision of using individual-tube devices directly for NO2 gas sensors. Significant progress has been made in understanding the sources of drift and hysteresis, and techniques have been introduced to counteract. Reducing the presence of process residues and dielectrics close to the SWNT to the best possible level leads to the suppression of hysteresis and significant improvement in the noise performance as well as improvement in the cross-sensitivity to humidity. Suspended devices are also attractive for self-heated, ultra-low-power architectures.
報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介:Christofer Hierold教授于1987年和1990年獲得德國(guó)慕尼黑工業(yè)大學(xué)的碩士和博士學(xué)位,并從2002年起任瑞士蘇黎世聯(lián)邦理工大學(xué)教授。Christofer Hierold教授在蘇黎世聯(lián)邦理工大學(xué)的研究方向主要是用于MEMS制造的新型材料、先進(jìn)微系統(tǒng)、熱電器件和碳納米管傳感器。Christofer Hierold教授發(fā)表了超過(guò)230篇期刊、國(guó)際會(huì)議論文和超過(guò)20篇國(guó)際專(zhuān)利。他是IEEE MEMS 2009的共主席,Transducers2013程序委員會(huì)主席,Transducers2019大會(huì)主席。從2012年十月起,Christofer Hierold教授擔(dān)任MEMS領(lǐng)域頂級(jí)期刊IEEE Journal of Microelectromechanical Systems的主編。Christofer Hierold教授還是瑞士工程科學(xué)院院士和IEEE Fellow。
