首先我會(huì)向大家介紹一些知名大學(xué),例如英國(guó)劍橋大學(xué)、美國(guó)麻省理工大學(xué)、加拿大多倫多大學(xué)、德國(guó)慕尼黑大學(xué)、巴黎綜合理工大學(xué),以及澳大利亞昆士蘭科技大學(xué)。
然后,我會(huì)簡(jiǎn)單介紹一下所有吸氣式推進(jìn)系統(tǒng),包括沖壓噴氣發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)、渦輪噴氣發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)、渦輪風(fēng)扇發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)、渦輪螺旋槳發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)、超燃沖壓發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)、以及離子推進(jìn)器,并介紹它們的特性以及性能參數(shù)。我會(huì)重點(diǎn)講解渦輪噴氣發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī),包括渦輪噴氣發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)的歷史發(fā)展,以及其性能分析的基本過(guò)程。

Introduction:
First, I will introduce to you some of the renounce universities, such as the Cambridge Bridge University of United Kingdom, Massachusetts Institute of technology of USA, Toronto University of Canada, University of Munich of Germany, Paris Ecole Polytechnique Institute of France, as well as, Queensland University of Technology of Australia.
An outline of all air-breath propulsion systems will also be presented including the ramjet, turbojet, turbofan, turboprop, scram jet, and ion engines. An introduction for all these propulsive systems about their characteristics and performance parameters are given. However, a special emphasis is focused on the turbojet engine. A historical development of the turbojet engine is included and the fundamental process for performance analysis will also be introduced.
Finally, let me share with you what is waiting for you to work on your study to be an aerospace engineer, and what you need to learn and how to conduct research.

Joseph J.S. Shang博士是萊特州立大學(xué)的榮譽(yù)教授。他在俄亥俄州立大學(xué)航空航天工程專(zhuān)業(yè)獲得博士學(xué)位,是計(jì)算流體力學(xué)和計(jì)算電磁學(xué)的先驅(qū)者,發(fā)表約400篇學(xué)術(shù)論文,14個(gè)書(shū)籍章節(jié)以及2本著作。

Speaker’s Biography
Dr. Joseph J.S. Shang is an emeritus research professor of Wright State University. He receives his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Ohio State University, becomes a pioneer of computational fluid dynamics, computational electromagnetics, and the author over 394 archival articles, fourteen book chapters, and two books.
In his career as a basic research scientist, he is the Leader and Senior Scientist of the Center of Excellence for Computational Aerodynamics of the Air Force Research Laboratory. He has been promoted to the rank of Scientific and Technology Executive and granted the USAF Basic Research Award as well as Meritorious, Outstanding, Exceptional Service Awards. In the same period, he is an adjunct professor of University of Dayton, Wright State University, Air Force Institute of Technology, Ohio Aerospace Institute, and serves as an external doctorial advisor to University of Maryland, Michigan University, and Stanford University. Dr. Shang is also a fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the recipient of Sustained Service and the Plasmadynamics and Laser Awards.
